St Patrick’s Day Parade Highlights

A great turnout for the start of the inaugural St Patrick’s Day Celebrations, a 3 day festival held in Cavill Mall, Surfers Paradise.  It showcased the Irish culture on the Gold Coast with traditional Irish performances, dances, and music.

Over 200 hundred competitors from around Australia and New Zealand took to the dance floor for the Modern Jive Dancing Championships. Pacific Pines Winterfest

​

The streets of Pacific Pines were transformed into all sorts of festivities as the community celebrated Winterfest 2015.  Thanks to the Pacific Pines Residence Group for organising the event and to Councillor Tracey Gilmore of Division 5 for funding, the event was a huge success and many people got to enjoy a great variety of entertainment, rides, activities, and attractions.  Here are some of the highlights.

Varsity Winterfest

Varsity Winterfest 2015 was a hit combining Vibe Street Markets with Buskers by the Creek, followed by a performance lakeside by The Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra.  Here are some of the highlights.
