The red carpet was rolled out along the beach side of Surfers Paradise for the Gold Coast Music Awards. Emm caught up with some of the finalists before the award ceremony and live entertainment on the big stage.

Gold Coast Film Festival

Here are some of the highlights and interviews of the red carpet arrivals at the opening of the 15th annual Gold Coast Film Festival at The Arts Centre Gold Coast.


The festival was held over 12 days and hosted 120 film and film-related events across 13 venues on the Gold Coast. There were 32 feature films from 13 countries including four World premieres, nine Australian premieres and eight Queensland premieres, plus a host of short films, events, panels, and intimate Q&A’s with filmmakers. Broadbeach Superhero Weekend

Broadbeach hosted its annual Gold Coast Superhero Weekend, a celebration of pop culture incorporating Supanova Pop Culture Expo, Gold Coast Film Festival, and lots of action packed events including a cosplay parade through the heart of Broadbeach.  Here are some highlights of some of the sights, colours, and personalities.

Damien Rider - Child Abuse Awareness Week
